You play as John Time, a man who broke the grandfather paradox and was sent to time jail. In a desperate attempt to escape, John stole the waist of time (a time belt) from one of the time police. In the fight to take the belt, it was damaged and sent John back to the stone age. Now he is being chased by the time police, and his only way to avoid them is to banish the time god itself.
