Wrath of Krampus is a single-player game in which you are playing as a young child during the legendary night Krampusnacht. You are in a cabin in the woods, isolated from civilization and without any family members to come to your aid. As you drift off, you snap awake, realizing that you are in a in the cabin. As you look around, you realize that it is just a dream, so you have no fear, until you see the figure of a giant lurking. Everything clicks, and it dawns on you that Krampus, the half-goat half-demon monster of the holiday season, is trying to kill you. You flee, and as you do you spot items around the place that you could use, whether to trap Krampus or hide you. You assume that all you have to do is survive the night, as you know if you are captured in your nightmare, you won’t wake up again. You have to run, dodge, hide, trap, and do anything you possibly can in order to evade the claws of the demon.
