Nocte is a third-person roguelike exploration game following the story of a robot called M.D.S.E.S. (Major Disaster Search and Evacuation System) as it uncovers the history of Lacaille 9352 Planet D. M.D.S.E.S. was sent as part of an investigation of the planet when it went dark 10 years prior, to learn of the events of the past, whether Diogenes Mining Corporation wants them to be known or not. While the planet has moved on, the artifacts left behind tell a story that cannot be ignored. Explore an immersive procedurally generated landscape, with remnants of the past and threats lurking. Enhance the abilities of M.D.S.E.S. to get around the world faster, protect yourself, and see the world better. Investigate abandoned infrastructure to obtain audio and text logs left by the colony’s inhabitants, and find new weapons or transportation. Work through obstacles, puzzles, and combat to unlock the secrets of the Diogenes Mining Corporation and bring to light the tragedy that unfolded in the Lacaille system.
