There are many hidden worlds all around us, however one of the most complex and mysterious worlds exists not outside us but within us, in our own heads. The human brain is an intricate and fascinating instrument that we rarely take the time to appreciate day to day. That is why I created Quorox, a game which explores the complex maze of information and memory acquired over a lifetime. The player navigates the game as Ellie, a young woman who recently suffered a serious accident which left her in a coma. Ellie is stuck inside her own head, trying to escape the maze of her mind and get back to the real world. However, puzzle solving ability is not the only valuable skill in Quorox: speed is crucial. The longer the player lingers in the maze, the more Ellie's memories deteriorate. Ellie needs to get out before she forgets who she is. To win with a high score, the player will have to be quick and clever, and willing to dive into Ellie's dark subconscious to retrieve what has been lost.
